Kumamoto International School is proud to announce that Kumamoto Prefecture officially accredited KIS as a “Kakushu Gakko” under Japan’s School Education Law on March 10, 2023.

Alongside our existing accreditation as an International Baccalaureate World School, KIS is now  accredited within the Japanese system, as well.  As we celebrate this milestone, KIS remains steadfast in our commitment to providing a high-quality educational environment that nurtures globally-minded, balanced individuals ready to succeed in the 21st century global world.

本校は、すでに国際バカロレア認定校としてすでに世界レベルの教育を提供しておりますが、この度各種学校として認可を受けたことにより、日本国内でも認められた学校になりました。KISは今後も引き続き、21世紀のグローバル世界で活躍できる国際的視野を持った人材を育成する高品質な教育を提供することに努めてまいります。
