Welcome to KIS!
熊本インターナショナルスクールは、2003年に幼児部を設立しました。
現在は、初等部と中等部が加わり、2025年には高等部を開設します。
KISは、生徒たちが21世紀の複雑で多様な世界で活躍できる力を身につけることを目指しており、そのために必要な知識やスキルの習得を支援しています。
生徒は、学業においてだけでなく、精神的・感情的に成長し、社会的なスキルを磨くことも重要視しています。さらに、KISでは、真のバイリンガル教育を提供し、生徒たちが両言語で自信を持ってコミュニケーションを取れるようになることを目指しています。本校のIBプログラムは英語で実施されており、加えて厳格な日本語の国語教育と中国語（マンダリン）の指導も行っています。

KISの中学・高校の教科専門教師と、経験豊富な小学校教師が指導する、体験活動と持ち帰り作品が充実した探究型プログラムです。
海洋科学、科学捜査、食品化学を実験で体験したり、面白いストーリーやプレゼンテーションで英語力を高めたり、アート・デザイン・スポーツなどにも楽しく取り組みます。
