| ① 中学生・高校生国語の指導 (国語教師) KISの中学校・高校国語教師として、以下の業務を担当していただきます： 小学生を対象に、読み・書き・聞き・話す力の基礎を中心とした国語（日本語）の指導を行います。 日本語や文化、文学への理解と興味を育む、魅力的な授業を作成します。 生徒のレベルやニーズに合わせて指導方法を工夫し、個別に対応します。 他の教師と協力して一貫した学習環境を整え、保護者へ生徒の進捗状況を報告します。 生徒が積極的に学び、参加できるような楽しくサポート的な教室環境を作り出します。 |

| Teacher of Japanese Language to Non-Native Learners |
| 職務内容 |
| Responsibilities • Teach students Grade 1 – Grade 12 Japanese – Learners are non-Japanese • Design and deliver engaging Japanese lessons aligned with the IB curricular framework. • Foster students’ development in Japanese, focusing on reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners with diverse ability levels by employing a variety of teaching methods, resources, and assessments tailored to diverse language proficiencies. • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Japanese lessons into the KIS interdisciplinary curriculum. • Provide formative and summative assessments that align with IB standards, offering timely and constructive feedback. • Prepare and issue report cards, along with completing other necessary documentation and reporting tasks. • Participate in school-wide activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities to contribute to the growth of the KIS community. • Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing. • Build and maintain trust with parents by fostering open communication, actively addressing their concerns, and keeping them informed about their child’s progress and school activities. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • Certification to teach Japanese as a second language or related field • At least N2 Japanese proficiency level (N1+ preferable) • Experience teaching Japanese preferred • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment |
