Through weeks of inquiry, research, collaboration, and reflection, students explored topics they are passionate about, took action and shared their learning with the community. 💡🌏

This milestone celebrates not only their academic growth, but also their development as independent, responsible, and globally minded learners ready to take on new challenges in the MYP.

On October 9th, KIS launched the Ready For Grade 1 (RFG1) Program, which facilitates visits from students at Picasso to KIS. This initiative aims to provide an educational experience that helps young learners understand what life is like at KIS. As part of the program, Grade 3 students served as reading buddies to the visiting students, engaging in shared reading sessions. During these interactions, the Grade 3 students assisted their younger peers in recognizing and understanding words they were unfamiliar with, fostering an environment of collaborative learning.

Today our DP Chemistry G11 students mentored G10 in an exciting collaborative experiment! 💡

Together, they designed and tested different fuels to determine which one is the most efficient — applying real-world chemistry to explore energy, sustainability, and innovation.

This activity also gave our MYP students a chance to experience what learning Chemistry in the DP is like as they start exploring their subject choices. 🎓✨
