フューチャー・フォーカス・プログラム：IB高等教育イベント 2025
グローバルな大学進学への扉を開く
6月6日、熊本インターナショナルスクールでは、フューチャー・フォーカス・プログラムの一環として、IB高等教育イベントを開催しました。この貴重な機会に、アジアの著名な5つの大学が本校のアリーナに来校し、生徒や保護者の皆さまに国際的な進学の選択肢を紹介しました。
参加大学は以下の通りです：
各大学は、大学のプログラム、教育理念、キャンパスライフについてのプレゼンテーションを行い、入学手続きや出願要件、奨学金情報など、具体的かつ実践的な情報を提供してくれました。
プレゼンテーションの後は、各大学のブースでの交流の時間が設けられ、生徒や保護者が直接質問をしたり、パンフレットを受け取ったりすることができました。これにより、生徒たちは自分の進学に関する疑問を解消し、自分に合った進路をより明確にイメージすることができました。
このイベントは、本校が掲げる「グローバルに活躍できる生徒の育成」という使命に沿った、重要な取り組みの一つです。生徒たちが将来を見据え、自信を持って次のステップへ進むための第一歩となりました。

Future Focus Program: IB Higher Education Event
Connecting Students with Global University Pathways
As part of our Future Focus Program, Kumamoto International School proudly hosted the IB Higher Education Event on June 6th. This enriching event brought five leading universities to our school’s Arena, providing students and families with direct access to valuable information about international higher education opportunities.
The participating institutions included:
- Temple University, Japan Campus
- Ritsumeikan University
- The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)
- The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)
- The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Each university delivered a presentation introducing their programs, academic philosophy, student life, and campus culture. They also shared detailed guidance on admissions procedures, entry requirements, and scholarship opportunities, giving students a clearer picture of what to expect as they plan their post-secondary education.
Following the presentations, students and parents were invited to visit individual university booths. These booths provided an excellent platform for one-on-one Q&A sessions, where attendees could ask specific questions, collect brochures, and gain personalized insights from university representatives.
The event was a key milestone in our school’s mission to prepare globally-minded learners. It empowered students to explore a range of academic futures and begin planning their next steps with confidence and purpose.
