As we approach the winter vacation, Kumamoto International School (KIS) wrapped up the second trimester with a heartwarming school assembly. This final gathering before the break was an opportunity to reflect on the efforts, achievements, and spirit that define our KIS community.
Mr. Matthew Ohm, the school principal, opened the assembly with a message of gratitude and pride. He recognized the hard work and dedication shown by both students and teachers throughout the term. Their commitment to growth, learning, and collaboration has been instrumental in making this trimester a success.
The assembly held a special moment to acknowledge the outstanding accomplishments of KIS students. These achievements, earned outside the classroom, showcased the diverse talents and dedication of our students in areas such as sports, arts, academic competitions, and other endeavors.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their remarkable dedication and hard work, which bring honor not only to themselves but also to the KIS community.
As we head into the winter vacation, we encourage everyone to take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality moments with loved ones. Let’s return in the new year ready to embrace new challenges, learn with enthusiasm, and continue to support one another.
Happy holidays and warm wishes from the Kumamoto International School family!
